Goldie Hawn is fondly remembering her late costar Ruth Buzzi.

A day after it was announced that Buzzi “died peacefully in her sleep at home in Texas” at 88, Hawn, 79, remembered her Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In castmate in a loving tribute.

“My Ruthie, you’re gone, and it hurts so deeply. I’ll always treasure our daily calls, how we could talk endlessly, even after long days. You were my girlfriend, my heart through life’s ups and downs. You made me laugh like no one else could,” wrote Hawn in a Friday, May 2 Instagram post.
