Coronation Street star Samia Longchambon said her castmate was ‘full of tea’ as they reunited for the first time in weeks – and you may have already guessed who she is talking about.
The actress, who is best known for playing Maria Windass in the ITV soap, was reunited with Jack P Shepherd following his triumphant Celebrity Big Brother stint last month (April).
The actor, famed for playing Corrie’s David Platt, crowned the reality programme’s 2025 winner during the live final last Friday night (April 25). He fought off competition from Ru Paul’s Drag Race winner Danny Beard and American star JoJo Siwa after they made the top three.
Jack, 37, told presenters AJ Odudu and Will Best of his win: “I can’t believe it, I am blown away, I didn’t expect it tonight. I mean, what is there? Six in the final? I thought I was a shoe-in for maybe fifth, honestly, and then as people were just disappearing, I thought, surely not.”
Following his win, his Corrie co-stars rushed to show their support. Samia shared on her Instagram Story: “@jackpshepherd88 we will get the kettle on for you when you’re back! Our winner.” She also commented on On The Sofa’s post about Jack’s win, writing: “Always our winner!”
Lucy Fallon, who plays Jack’s on-screen niece Bethany Platt in Corrie, reshared the news to her Instagram Story and said: “Absolutely buzzing @jackpshepherd88. Never in doubt.” Lauren Bolton star Cait Fitton cheered: “Buzzing for you @jackpshepherd88!! So deserved.”
Kirk Sutherland star Andy Whyment celebrated: “Get in there @jackpshepherd88,” while Calum Lill, who played Joel Deering, shared: “Go on lad.”
Now, Samia has revealed that Jack is already back on the Street. She shared a selfie of the pair together on Instagram and wrote to her followers: “He’s back.. and full of hot tea! Missed ya @jackpshepherd88 #winner.”
And fans were thrilled. @corrieluvsx said: “my fav corrie hairdressers are back.” @samiasgirlx commented: “Jacky TEA Shepherd our winner.” @gemma.cassidy wrote: “Lovely photo Samia + Jack! Congrats on winning CBB Jack!”
